Thank You NSE’08, YouTube, Hollywood, CA, and Demand Z1
Hey! We’re back from Nerdapalooza SE . . . and boy, are our arms tired :P Sorry, sorry, but ZeaLouS1 thinks that’s hilarious.
Like we were saying, NSE’08 has come and gone, and it was absolutely amazing! We had fun the entire time we were there, slept about 6 hours the entire weekend, and dropped more coins on the toll roads than we care to admit (how Orlando sleeps at night taking money from lost and confused Californians on their highways we’ll never know). Thank you to each and every single one of you that made it out to see ZeaLouS1 and all the NSE performers tear it up on stage. We cannot wait to do it all again next year, but hopefully you don’t have to wait that long to see Z1 back in the Sunshine State. Keep your ears open for a possible date announcement. Maybe. Possibly. But maybe.
If you weren’t there, we missed you! But just because you weren’t there, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the show. ZeaLouS1’s label BOSSFIGHT Records recorded his whole set and uploaded it to their new YouTube channel. You can check it out at youtube.com/bossfightrecords. The videos are also posted in the news section on ZeaLouS1.com. A lot of people were complimenting the new design at NSE, so if you haven’t checked it out, now is really good time to do so.
If you missed Nerdapalooza SE, and that reason is you’re thousands of miles away on the west coast, cheer up because ZeaLouS1’s next performance is in Hollywood this Sunday night! (Hollywood, CA, not Hollywood, FL. Did you know that there were two?) And . . . guess who’s going to be there? Will Smith! Well, no, I don’t really know if he’s going to be there, but he could. It’s Hollywood, so it’s entirely possible that he could hear about the show, and it’s entirely possible that he could jump on the stage, and it’s entirely possible he could go into a solid rendition of “Summertime” with ZeaLouS1. I’m serious, he could. But, someone we do know who is going to be there is none other than IllGill! Yep, this year the guys were actually invited to the GameMusic4All.com anniversary show, which is so much nicer than last year when they crashed and performed their own set with about a dozen on-lookers in the back. This is the first time that Z1 and Ill have teamed up this year after performing half a dozen shows together last year, so this is one you don’t want to miss. And, speaking of Eventful.com, they have announced a brand new competition that ZeaLouS1 has decided to win, and win big. Taylor Guitars is sponsoring this go around with $5,000 and three guitars to the winner so that they can perform in the city with the most Demands. How awesome would that be to have ZeaLouS1 perform in your hometown, possibly with a full band behind him? Epic, right? We know a couple of guitar players, and I’m sure we can rustle up a drummer, so if . . . no, WHEN we win, you don’t have to worry about that! If you’ve already Demanded ZeaLouS1 through Eventful, don’t worry, for this competition, you can do it again to make your vote count. And, if you haven’t already, wow, what are you waiting for!? Next week, we’ll let you know how Z1 blew up Hollywood (figuratively speaking, of course, don’t take that the wrong way Homeland Security) and tell you where you might be able to hear the new single, “‘Til We Die,” just a little bit early of it’s July 19 drop date. ‘Til then :)
