‘LiL HARMz Live, The Awful Show, and IllGill House Party

Hey everyone! Is it just us, or has this summer been way too nice this year? It’s already mid-July and it still feels like spring here in sunny San Diego. Sorry if it’s hotter/colder than 72 degrees where you are :P

We’re enjoying getting out and about here, so much so that ZeaLouS1 seems to be performing every other week. Last week, he performed a very cool set at the Game Music 4 All.com 2nd Anniversary show. Everyone had a great time and it was a real turnout. ZeaLouS1 had to change up his set list, though, because since the show was all ages, none other than ‘LiL HARMz was able to join Z1 on stage for performances of “Healer,” “Evermore,” “By Your Side,” and the new single, “‘Til We Die.” We can’t tell you how incredible it was to see HARMz and ZeaLouS perform together, but, we can show you! The video is up on ZeaLouS1.com, of course, so be sure to check it out. The video for “‘Til We Die” will go up this weekend, though, as it is being released with the Rhyme Torrents 7 compilation on Saturday.

Speaking of which, how would you like to hear the single just a little bit early? Well, our BFF’s over at the Awful Show are helping us help you by debuting the new song live on air during this Friday’s show! But, wait, there’s more. Not only will the new single debut on this Friday’s episode of the Awful Show, but ZeaLouS1 HIMSELF will co-host the entire show, too! It’s sure to be a crazy time, as they usually have been in the past, so please don’t miss it! The show starts at 7 PM PST / 10 PM EST, and you can stream it live over the Internet at theawfulshow.com.

We’ve mentioned that we’ve been getting out about about a lot this summer, and the weekend after next will be no exception. Last week at the GM4A.com show, IllGill was unable to join ZeaLouS1 on stage due to, uh, well, getting lost on the way to the venue. In LA. Where he lives. He was so upset that he has offered to host a show in his own apartment, henceforth known as The Warp Zone, where he and ZeaLouS1 will perform live in front of an audience, as well as live on the Internet! The date for the show has been set for Saturday, August 2, and the tentative time is currently scheduled for 9 PM. This is going to be a classic house party, and everyone that can make it is invited to come and party with Ill and Z1. But even if you can’t, the show will be brought to you live on the Internet via Stickam. Details can of course be found at Eventful.com, and be sure to watch it, as the information is subject to change.

AND! ZeaLouS1 is still holding his own in the Eventful “Fire Up The Fans” competition, remaining steady at number 25. We’d really like to start working our way back into the teens and then on to victory in the competition, so help ZeaLouS1 by Demanding him in your city! Remember, if you have previously Demanded ZeaLouS1 prior to the contest, you can Demand him again to give him your vote. We’re thrilled that so many of you have already Demanded Z1, but if you haven’t, we only have two words for you: come on :P

NSE ‘08 Bound, and New Website, MySpace and Single

The time has come! Does everyone have their tickets???

Tomorrow morning, ZeaLouS1 leaves San Diego for Orlando to perform in front of the largest crowd of Nerdcore, Video Game, Wrock, Chiptune, Geek Music fans ever assembled in one place for Nerdapalooza SE ‘08! We hope to see everyone that can make it there. ZeaLouS1 will be performing at 8:00 PM EST, so everyone under 21 can still catch his performance before they kick you out at 10 PM (Florida law, sorry). He’ll be walking around, hanging out, signing autographs, so don’t be shy if you want to come up and say hi–he’s really, really nice, we promise ;) We’ll have copies of his latest CD, The Living Epitaph, available for sale in case you haven’t had a chance to pick it up, and of course he’ll take a moment to sign it for you.

We mentioned tickets in the beginning of this update, and every update for two months now :P but if you didn’t get your two-day passes, single day tickets will be available at the door in limited quantities, so if you’re going to the show, get there early! The earlier you get there, the more artists you get to see. Random, co-collaborator on the hot new Z1 single, will be performing at 1 PM on Friday, FYI.

But, speaking of Random, we have a little more info on the new track he and ZeaLouS1 have been putting together, the first announcement being that it’s finished! Yep, done and done. The second announcement we have is the name of the track, and that name is “‘Til We Die.” And, not only is Random behind the beat, but ZeaLouS1 also managed to get the beautifully voiced ‘Lil Harmz on, as well. We can’t wait for you to hear it, and you will, when it drops with the Rhyme Torrents 7 compilation on July 19. You’ll be able to download it from the MySpace profile, RhymeTorrents.org, and ZeaLouS1.com, naturally.

And, speaking of ZeaLouS1.com, it’s brand spanking new! We hope you like the summer gold theme that’s now featured on ZeaLouS1.com. Z1 himself really liked it, even though it’s not black and red :P But, we’ve really been feeling summer is looking good for all of us, so we’re going with it. The MySpace theme has also been switched up to reflect the website redesign, so we hope you check that out at myspace.com/zealous1.
